Know the right time to start IIT JEE preparation
Once your 10th standard final exam results are out, it is time for you to make plans for your higher studies. This point of time is really crucial in your life because your career and future depends on the decision that you make during this time. IIT JEE is one option for those students, who wish to seek admission in any of the IIT’s, NIT’s or any other national technical schools after class XII. It is better to find out one best JEE coaching centre and book your seat as early as possible.
- Start your preparations early:
The perfect time to kick start your IIT JEE preparation is at the beginning of 11th standard. It will be very easy for you to maintain class 11 topics and JEE coaching classes together. If you put your maximum effort and hard work in studies, two years will be more than enough to crack JEE.
- Start preparation in class 11:
It is better not to start your JEE preparations in 12th standard because it will get clubbed with your board exam preparations and may ruin both of them.
Before you start your preparations, it is important to make a study timetable so that you can plan your lessons accordingly. While preparing the study plan, try to provide equal importance to all the 3 subjects and make sure that you follow them strictly.

Solving problems is difficult for students, if they have not practiced well. Start practicing few simple problems first, once you have mastered all the basic concepts, then try to solve more tough and high level problems.
- Concentrate on weak subjects:
Some students will be excellent in Mathematics and average in Chemistry, those students need to dedicate more time for chemistry topics. All the three topics are equally important and you need to be thorough with all of them in order to crack IIT JEE in the first attempt itself.
